@Sassy Undeniably what does that page on gold ore have to do with volatile gold ions?
when lava flows it is melted gold and other components that evaporate. When you change the state of gold it becomes ionic. Common oxidation states of gold include +1 (gold(I) or aurous compounds) and +3 (gold(III) or auric compounds). Gold ions in solution are readily reduced and precipitated as metal by adding any other metal as the reducing agent.
So?
IE lava=Gold
No
It means lava can contain gold
You are ignoring the info
But gold still will not evaporate like inthe tLC model
@Sassy Undeniably have you been to a fresh lava field before?
With the ash still on the ground?
And where roads haven't extended yet?
I have
It's not gold
@Sassy Undeniably and gold ions are still nonvolatile
AmthyricToday at 11:41 AM
If you are saying what I think you are saying
One each
To reach another 'state' they require a nuclear interaction
If you mean ionization...
Then it doesn't matter
Aqueous gold and silver are nonvolatile
Most aqueous metals are none volitile
AmthyricToday at 10:57 AM
@Sassy Undeniably so why is volcanism almost exclusively associate with near-ocean areas?
Under this model?
Under plate techtonics, volcanology and seismology are directly related
So under this model?
@Sassy Undeniablyyou said they aren't volatile and I have clearly shown that what you consider to be volatile in fact is not. You are sticking to only your understanding of certain types of gold. I am saying to you that gold has many states and aid in many processes.
seismology is based on the assumption the earth is a ball
@Sassy Undeniably that isn't what LC said
He said gold ions
Gold ions are nonvolatile
@Amthyric If you have been to rolling lava I would like to see some pictures or video of that. It is life changing right?
Lava fields*
Sólheimajökull has ash on the ground
Lava is a mixture of many metallic compounds
Not just gold
I passed Eyafyalltjökull
earthquakes therefore earth is a ball?
Yes
Wait no
seems legit
You want pictures of Sólheimajökull?
Detecting tremors therefore the earth is a ball
really rigorous science there
Or the apelhraun fields near Reykavík?
Reyjavík*
What
@shakz7 It's not a ball 😂
@Sassy Undeniably so why doesn't Iceland export gold?
@🎃Oakheart🎃 spherical then
