you wouldnt say "look i did cool kid jump" and then say "jumping is the propelling of one's body throughout the air going upward, you then descend because of gravity, which is a pulling force, earth has a gravity in which it holds this same system of pulling as a force, thus why jumping brings people downward at a point"

2020-01-14 13:42:49 UTC

Wrong

2020-01-14 13:43:51 UTC

yeah you'd say that

2020-01-14 13:44:54 UTC

Gravity isnt said to push or pull

2020-01-14 13:45:14 UTC

Its said it attracts

2020-01-14 13:45:18 UTC

yeah i know gravity is just *there* you know what i mean

2020-01-14 13:45:38 UTC

attracts could be used the same was as pulling

2020-01-14 14:37:45 UTC

Errm

2020-01-14 14:38:00 UTC

Mass is not attracting mass over a distance

2020-01-14 14:40:59 UTC

true dat

2020-01-14 15:22:57 UTC

Basically every mass attracks every other mass over any distance, though the effect is very, very, very small like immeasurably small. So you are attracted to a planet that we don't even know of. At least that's according to Newtonian physics, and I haven't yet studied general relativity

2020-01-14 15:28:00 UTC

I have, what you said is basically the most basic and important part

2020-01-14 15:30:25 UTC

Ever noticed how almost every flat earth post is made in impact font, the same used for memes ? I find that quite ironic

2020-01-14 15:33:09 UTC

well gravity is philosophical hypotesis so flatearters dont take it to account

2020-01-14 15:34:01 UTC

Well then how's that when you jump you fall down ?

2020-01-14 15:35:36 UTC

im heavier than the same volume of the air and since there is definitive up and down i fall

2020-01-14 15:35:48 UTC

nothing to do with bending spacetime

2020-01-14 15:38:10 UTC

Lmaoo

2020-01-14 15:38:31 UTC

Sup

2020-01-14 15:38:48 UTC

yes that is the best answer glober have to reality

2020-01-14 15:39:00 UTC

hello

2020-01-14 15:39:31 UTC

Well then

2020-01-14 15:39:33 UTC

Let's say

2020-01-14 15:39:38 UTC

Let's say for a second

2020-01-14 15:40:06 UTC

Why and how is air contained in the earth ?

2020-01-14 15:40:25 UTC

Time to Yeet some stuff from my notes

2020-01-14 15:40:29 UTC

it has to be sealed

2020-01-14 15:40:36 UTC

Why doesn't it go away since it's lighter than the same.volime of whatever is lighter

2020-01-14 15:40:53 UTC

*There is no such thing as a gravitational force. Mass is not attracting mass over a distance. Instead, itโ€™s curving spacetime. If there is no force, then how do you explain acceleration due to gravity? Objects should accelerate only when acted upon by a force; otherwise they should maintain a constant velocity.*

2020-01-14 15:40:57 UTC

you dont have gas living happily next to vacuum

2020-01-14 15:41:04 UTC

thats just common sense

2020-01-14 15:41:36 UTC

Well but what is it sealed

2020-01-14 15:41:40 UTC

There is always force tho

2020-01-14 15:41:41 UTC

2020-01-14 15:41:52 UTC

i dont know

2020-01-14 15:41:58 UTC

By what Magic is the air sealed ?

2020-01-14 15:42:06 UTC

ancient text talks about the firmanent

2020-01-14 15:42:10 UTC

could be that

2020-01-14 15:42:26 UTC

@Pierre in your case the magical force is gravity ๐Ÿ˜„
