Going by how the atmosphere has a fading pressure, the higher up you go, the lower the pressure, then why don't objects go up then? The pressure/density is slightly lower above an object than the pressure below an object, and since high pressure areas like to go to a low pressure area, wouldn't that mean that we would go up rather than down?

2020-01-16 14:59:15 UTC

And how does it work in a vacuum chamber?

2020-01-16 15:00:47 UTC

yeah i have the same questions

2020-01-16 15:02:03 UTC

As well as density only effects buoyancy, which literally has gravity in the equation.

2020-01-16 15:21:27 UTC

i dont think buoyancy has anything to do with bending of spacetime

2020-01-16 15:21:30 UTC

the earth is not flat, shes THICC

2020-01-16 15:21:59 UTC

original

2020-01-16 15:22:54 UTC

thanks dude

2020-01-16 15:23:02 UTC

my gf said it

2020-01-16 15:24:10 UTC

hey guys

2020-01-16 15:24:12 UTC

your gayfriend is smart

2020-01-16 15:54:09 UTC

@Juno objects do go up

2020-01-16 15:54:25 UTC

Helium

2020-01-16 15:54:28 UTC

Water

2020-01-16 15:54:34 UTC

Planes

2020-01-16 15:54:36 UTC

Birds

2020-01-16 15:54:41 UTC

Smoke

2020-01-16 15:55:15 UTC

Gas pressure only works in a container

2020-01-16 15:55:41 UTC

Pressure gradients only exists in a container

2020-01-16 15:56:39 UTC

You guys need to do science not scientism

2020-01-16 16:14:27 UTC

Since when does water go up????

2020-01-16 16:15:12 UTC

Planes and birds go up because they have wings, water, well... water doesn't have wings

2020-01-16 16:15:56 UTC

Helium goes up because it is literally the least dense thing known to man

2020-01-16 16:16:18 UTC

And buoyancy exists

2020-01-16 16:18:08 UTC

So not only are you wrong, you're cherry picking things that aren't even related, who cares if birds can fly, they are biologically designed to fly

2020-01-16 16:19:08 UTC

As well as you didn't explain how we are stuck to the earth

2020-01-16 16:27:50 UTC
2020-01-16 16:39:28 UTC

water, as a liquid, doesn't go up, though, when it evaporates into STEAM, it goes up, water itself doesn't go up

2020-01-16 17:04:01 UTC

It's literally called the water cycle, it isnt hard to understand that when water evaporates it goes into the air since it is in a gaseous state. Then raining when it collects into droplets.

2020-01-16 17:53:38 UTC

No

2020-01-16 17:53:55 UTC

Yikes

2020-01-16 17:54:00 UTC

What

2020-01-16 17:54:43 UTC

There are many people here who think the earth isn’t a sphere.

2020-01-16 17:55:23 UTC

?

2020-01-16 18:12:08 UTC

seems like you are one of the globe earthers trying to convince them otherwise ;P

@Juno yes i meant evaporation

2020-01-16 18:24:04 UTC

<@237368837073403905> did you know some selenelion show the moon darkening from top down
