Lol

Nathan Oakley, ultimate cringe

2020-02-13 17:38:15 UTC

his channel not his explanation

2020-02-13 17:38:46 UTC

Sure, not saying you like his stuff

2020-02-13 17:40:13 UTC

It would be easy to prove the earths shape, if any one wanted to or had some money to do it

2020-02-13 17:40:41 UTC

I need 2000 euros to do it

2020-02-13 17:40:47 UTC

Travelling is costly

2020-02-13 17:41:00 UTC

what is your plan

2020-02-13 17:42:19 UTC

Take two tall structures that are far from each other but visible to each other. Draw a line on the side of both buildings that is pointing straight down, and measure the distance between them at the bottom and at the top

2020-02-13 17:43:01 UTC

If there's a difference, either the earth is not flat, or things don't fall down

2020-02-13 17:48:42 UTC

What

2020-02-13 17:53:12 UTC

I'll demonstrate with a picture

2020-02-13 17:53:43 UTC

Can't post pics ☹️

2020-02-13 17:54:50 UTC

btw things only fall down on a flat earth

2020-02-13 17:55:00 UTC

on a ball they fall in

2020-02-13 17:55:10 UTC

Yes, is that straight down?

2020-02-13 17:57:38 UTC

Do you think two buildings that are one kilometer away from each other stand straight in contrast to each other?

2020-02-13 17:57:58 UTC

Not just in contrast to the ground

2020-02-13 17:58:07 UTC

I say no

2020-02-13 17:58:50 UTC

There is a bigger distance between them at the top then at the bottom, because the earth is not flat

2020-02-13 18:00:41 UTC

Is there a link for that?

2020-02-13 18:01:30 UTC

I would like to know how the measurement was done

2020-02-13 18:02:51 UTC

I don’t agree with that cartoon, but the measurement itself, checks out.

2020-02-13 18:06:32 UTC

I didn't see any mentioning how they measured that

2020-02-13 18:11:28 UTC

2020-02-13 18:20:34 UTC

a geodesic experiment, which consists of measuring two buildings at a considerable distance

2020-02-13 18:20:50 UTC

Doesn't say anything about how the öy measured the distances

2020-02-13 18:38:22 UTC

The hardest part was determining the flatness of water. They did so with geodetic gps equipment, that showed the water to be flat, and employed radio equipment to verify it.

2020-02-13 18:40:08 UTC

Since the geodetic gps had already verified the bases of the buildings were the same, they should have gotten a different distance when they brought the equipment to the tops.

2020-02-13 18:40:24 UTC

Problem is, they didn’t.

2020-02-13 18:50:08 UTC

So we can all agree the earth is flat

2020-02-13 18:50:33 UTC

Hello my fellow falt earthers
