The land and coastal ocean portions of these images are based on surface observations collected from June through September 2001 and combined, or composited, every eight days to compensate for clouds that might block the sensor’s view of the surface on any single day.
The cloud image is a composite of two days of imagery collected in visible light wavelengths and a third day of thermal infra-red imagery over the poles

yes there are stars - that being lights in the sky that we can only observe and record
black holes I would argue dont exist as there happen in a medium which can not exist that being outer space
Yes the illuminations in the sky in the shape of a circle does not mean they are earth and rock globes of substance

if earth is a ball flying through a vacuum, why would we have any atmosphere anyway?

which is what we expect since water is always level
