also its impossible for a day and night cycle to occur on a flat earth a flat earth would be under constant illumination

2020-02-19 15:57:06 UTC

What is causing the shadow on the moon if the earth is not inbetween sun and moon?

what I am seeing here doesnt disprove globe earth the moon is 180 degrees from the sun, some of the sun is below the horizon and so you are getting a partial lunar eclipse

2020-02-19 16:02:40 UTC

the earth is casting a partial shadow on the moon

2020-02-19 16:03:29 UTC

The phases are based on the angle light hits it

2020-02-19 16:03:33 UTC

from above, its not possible?

2020-02-19 16:07:13 UTC

The moon has an orbital tilt

2020-02-19 16:07:27 UTC

It's not directly lined 180 degrees with earth

2020-02-19 16:07:57 UTC

When its in Earth's shadow its a luncar eclipse

2020-02-19 16:08:10 UTC

Most of the time the Earth isn't in the way

2020-02-19 16:11:33 UTC

That’s a big claim

2020-02-19 16:12:52 UTC

not really
Easily measurable by tracking where the moon is

2020-02-19 16:13:02 UTC

also why would it be perfectly aligned

2020-02-19 16:13:09 UTC

The probability of that is low

2020-02-19 16:13:12 UTC

Theres a side view about halfway

2020-02-19 16:25:24 UTC

why would the moon flip as you change from south to north on a flat earth

2020-02-19 16:33:17 UTC

Same reason your ceiling light flips when you go to the other side of the room

2020-02-19 16:35:11 UTC

but that would imply incredible closeness of the moon to earth right

2020-02-19 16:35:25 UTC

yes

2020-02-19 16:35:28 UTC

like the sun

2020-02-19 16:35:58 UTC

so wait a second you believe that the moon is flat also?

2020-02-19 16:36:05 UTC

it's not a solid object

2020-02-19 16:36:27 UTC

so you think the moon is a liquid?

2020-02-19 16:36:29 UTC

or a gas or what

2020-02-19 16:36:32 UTC

no. it's a light

2020-02-19 16:36:38 UTC

that's all we can determine scientifically

2020-02-19 16:36:45 UTC

though some scientists have hypothesized that it's plasma

2020-02-19 16:37:24 UTC

we don't have the funding to do the experiments necessary to fully understand it

2020-02-19 16:37:38 UTC

like NASAs $55,000,000 per day

2020-02-19 16:38:13 UTC

It's solid?

2020-02-19 16:38:18 UTC

We've been there?

2020-02-19 16:38:22 UTC

no

2020-02-19 16:38:27 UTC

And yes I know its fake and all

2020-02-19 16:38:43 UTC

But it's more possible than plasma or a projection or something crazy like that

2020-02-19 16:38:43 UTC

if that were the case how have moon reflection experiments been done by pointing a laser at a mirror placed on the moon which reflects back

2020-02-19 16:38:55 UTC

have you done them yourself?
