@Stickman The government doesn't require classes that actually help people in the real world as you get older. You never learn about taxes, or rent, or anything like that when growing up. School is made to make workers, 9 to 5 workers. You aren't supposed to be rich, which is why you aren't, but stay in the lower class so they have people to wash the elite's cars, and make their food and clean up their houses.

The Netherlands had a nice school system

The modern pressure of society is to get out of high school then go to college and build up a debt then work for 10 - 30 years just to try and pay it off while also paying for life essentials.

University costs 2000 euro
