I have no idea then
Does anyone here know?
any flat earthers in here why was it mad mike Hughes died when trying to reach space
HELLO FELLOW FLATTIES!
Have you ever noticed that google maps is actually falt?! Why would they do that if its round? Google is on our side. After the government noticed, they ordered google earth to be made! There are even some documents that suggest this idea!
#FREEGOOGLE
Sadly its only a matter of time until NASA infiltrates Google and takes over :(
We don’t tolerate trolling,especially in this channel @earth=> _______
Why is it trolling? I have researched this topic for a long time. If you dont believe me...look up the evidence on Wikileaks!
So what evidence do you have to prove your claim?
@earth=> _______ Didn't the head of google maps say something about the data not being possible to work with the globe?
@rivenator12113 if data wasn't able to be processed on a globe, Google earth wouldn't work.
Is this real?
Who knows, everything is relative
How is this flat Earth discord but there is no formula for horizon curve. Looks like everyone just wants to believe what they're told.
Or you just believe what you are told by media and NASA
Why do i need a formula if i have my eyes!
TRUE!
Just LOOK at the horizon. No curvature there my friend
My formula is = eyes>physics
I wish I had WiFi, to view the gifs...

Hey i just saw a video on youtube and i really liked the idea of the earth being flat. I think i knew it the whole time but never thougth it could be real. We must spread the word on that!!!
Most people throughout history knew it was flat. the spinning ball is a fairly recent concept
@Flatty from Cincinnati No actually, I derived the formula myself, but the people in discord are just taking nasa's word for how much the horizon should curve without even using a formula
@curious guy How did you derive your formula / what parameters and values did you use if I may ask.
I did not use values, I used variables, R is the radius of the Earth, h is the height, u is the horizontal angle of view, I made a model showing which part of the Earth would be visible from a height h, the angular size from "eye level" to a certain point on the horizon is used to find how much the horizon should curve
This is for distance
I'm talking about how curved the horizon will look
Also, for the image you showed, it's probably better to use the curved distance for d1 and d2 for more accurate results
