Wow, at first it sounded like the amount of refraction would be too great, but the light rays would only need to refract by about 0.938° in total between the sun and moon's light rays, which seems reasonable given the angle of incidence

What is the argument and who is the flat earther

2020-03-13 23:00:31 UTC

And who is the glove earther

2020-03-13 23:00:37 UTC

Globe*

2020-03-13 23:00:51 UTC

I've no idea, I'm just discussing the selenelion

2020-03-13 23:01:06 UTC

Oh I thought you were disagreeing

2020-03-13 23:01:07 UTC

Lol

2020-03-13 23:01:54 UTC

I still don't quite understand what's meant by top-down eclipse on the moon, or if it means what I think it means, then how is it relevant?

2020-03-13 23:06:02 UTC

eclipses are not relevant to the shape of Earth's surface

2020-03-13 23:08:28 UTC

Well if an eclipse is observed which is impossible in the globe model wouldn't that debunk it?

2020-03-13 23:10:23 UTC

if you shoot a laser 30miles across a lake and find no curvature? no

2020-03-13 23:10:35 UTC

just because you don't understand HOW something works, doesn't mean that it doesn't

2020-03-13 23:10:53 UTC

Why do we see ships disappear

they don't disappear. if you have a telephoto lens

2020-03-13 23:11:52 UTC

New meme well look at that. Earth is a pancake

Just because one doesn't match it directly means it's wrong??

2020-03-13 23:14:13 UTC

That's a logical fallacy

2020-03-13 23:14:26 UTC

👍

2020-03-13 23:14:37 UTC

stay with the spinning ball

Nice response.

2020-03-13 23:20:19 UTC

Very conflicting results

2020-03-13 23:22:04 UTC

They always stop when they lose

2020-03-13 23:22:16 UTC

Imagine if the FECore laser was mounted on the lower levels of that vessel, according to this video, it would not be visible. So either atmospheric conditions are heavily influencing the results, or one of them is invalid

2020-03-13 23:22:17 UTC

They won't admit that.

2020-03-13 23:23:36 UTC

we don't care what others believe.

2020-03-13 23:23:41 UTC

we just try to lead horses to water

2020-03-13 23:23:46 UTC

it's up to them at that point

2020-03-13 23:24:03 UTC

nobody can change your mind but you

2020-03-13 23:24:12 UTC

Yeah, I agree.

2020-03-13 23:24:13 UTC

we were all the same as you at one point
