Why set up camp there when there is a cozy cabin on the other side of the hill
first of all, because i love the sound of rainfall on my tent
i use saxon/norman/viking tents, they're comfy as heck and you can even light fires under the canvas because it won't burn.
takes too long to set up tho
nah, only about 10 minutes
it's worth it
huh
i have a lot of experience with those kind of tents
at some festivals i sell furs with the whole getup just to be authentic i guess lmao
people love it
I tried my hand at maple syurp
didnt make enough to sell
but it was nice
it's good to get into a trade at least
in march there is 3 feet of snow on the ground
same here, i love it
but where i live you can get 4 seasons in one day
In summer
Fall*
10/10, would sit on that bench and roast chicken
most of the year except summer, we have snow on the mountains
so you can always see it
we dont have mountains sadly
looks like this
nice
we don't call them mountains, we call them hills
not surprised
so a lot of tourists get confused and unprepared when we tell them to go hill hiking
lol
yea
it's good though, i climbed a decent sized one in point shoes and it was ok
maybe it's just in my blood
the us isnt super mountainous but where it is it is crazy
The highest point in the us by ROAD
the further north you go in scotland, the more mountains there are
is 15000 ft
went there in July and it was 35f(2c) and some snow
that's sick
biggest one ive been up is 4412.73ft
