I wasn't quoting psalms, I was quoting Matthew
You know what he was quoting right?
Oh the psalms he was wuoting
No
Tell me
I've already quoted you, it's a prayer regarding suffering, in no way is it about the abandonment by the Father, he was again drawing parallels from himself as the messiah in the old testament anachronistically to the Jews.
```they have pierced my hands and feet , they have numbered all my bones```
Furthermore, do you think only God can truly send the Holy Spirit?
```John 14:16
[16]And I will ask the Father: and he shall give you another Paraclete, that he may abide with you for ever:```
In that Christ asks the Father to send him?
Otherwise arguing the mutability of God, right?
For also Christ sends the Paraclete himself, ```John 16:7
[7]But I tell you the truth: it is expedient to you that I go. For if I go not, the Paraclete will not come to you: but if I go, I will send him to you.```
This confirms the filioque
Confirming the trinity with it
So is jesus equal to god?
Depends in what way you refer to equality, the Father is greater than the son in the respect that all being flows from the Father, nothing exists without the Father.
But he is equal in that they all share equally in the divine essence. Or else they wouldn't be consubstantial.
The definition of trinity is the unity of god the father, son and holy ghost as one, so if they share the same divine essence that means their thoughts should be one, therefore there should be no request from the father to the son nor vice versa as they should desire the same things and act on the same things in the same way in the same instant,
And if they are consubstantial that means they can never be separate from each other,
So jesus should not pray to God to do miracles as he is apart of the trinity and can partake of its divine power, but yet he has to ask for power, and he was also a mortal man, that means he lost his divine essence the moment he became a man because divinity cannot dwell with sin and the flesh is sinful, though jesus did not sin the flesh is still impure.
Romans 8:3 King James Version (KJV)
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
@MENELIK THE IMPENETRABLE you seriously need to read up on the doctrine of the trinity, I will not have you try to tell me what I believe.
The Son is generated from the Father, he is the Logos, the Son cannot act without the power of the Father.
A consubstantial union does not mean they are synonymous, that would be an error
Hmm
> @MENELIK THE IMPENETRABLE you seriously need to read up on the doctrine of the trinity, I will not have you try to tell me what I believe.
@Eoppa Well I'm not a Christian I was just testing your faith
That's nice
@MENELIK THE IMPENETRABLE so what faith, if any, do you hold?
Hermeticism(philosophy) black nationalist (political affiliation)
Hermeticism is kinda based
Your politics doesn't surprise me, given your name and profile pic. Your philosophy I'll have to study more up on.
@Gothik Extravaganzado study it, it takes diligence tho
I have a basic understanding of it, if it be what I think it is.
What do you think it is?
In very very very very basic basicness, Robert Sepehr touches some on it in his videos.
Black nationalist? Define that @MENELIK THE IMPENETRABLE
Pan-Africanism maybe?
Lmao
That'd be my guess
Sounds like some black panther shit to me
Take this to <#587028275918929925> or <#587015719141507102> if you’re going to continue talking about black nationalism
