This is why it has historically been ruled by a powerful leader

2020-03-25 11:56:13 UTC

Same goes for most Slavic Nations

2020-03-25 11:56:24 UTC

That's why they should prepare next leader before health of Putin starts to visibly weaken.

2020-03-25 11:56:35 UTC

Couldn't find any intel on that however.

2020-03-25 11:57:00 UTC

Just some "yay, after Putin is dead there will be no Putin!" type of thing.

2020-03-25 11:58:36 UTC

Putin is not a good leader

2020-03-25 12:00:25 UTC

Would you rather see someone from Putin's camp as his successor, someone from anti-Putin camp, or someone else?

2020-03-25 12:01:02 UTC

putin, like majority of modern politicians, is just a puppet

2020-03-25 12:01:29 UTC

@AsdfgQwert Someone else

2020-03-25 12:02:17 UTC

I want to see a Russian Ruler who recognizes the existence of the Slavic Group - as historically the Russian Leaders have, rather than expansionism.

2020-03-25 12:02:58 UTC

You mean pan-slavic approach?

2020-03-25 12:03:13 UTC

To an extent, yes

2020-03-25 12:04:47 UTC

Yeah, Putin seems to be harming Russia relations with other Slavic nations. Such as Ukraine, to not look too far (if in your worldview Ukraine should be separate nation).

2020-03-25 12:05:23 UTC

It may be hard to undo.

2020-03-25 12:05:36 UTC

It is possible.

2020-03-25 12:05:46 UTC

But the longer we wait the worse it gets

2020-03-25 12:06:01 UTC

Pan-Slavism reached the closest to reality in the time before World War I

2020-03-25 12:06:31 UTC

And hit a new low with the fall of communism in the 80's

2020-03-25 12:06:42 UTC

Since then there has not been much talk of inter-slavic relations

2020-03-25 12:08:05 UTC

I believe pan-Slavism is inevitable - but i am unsure if i will be alive to see it.

2020-03-25 12:09:03 UTC

If you want Russia to do anything else than being controlled by corrupted oligarchs, it’s Putin’s time to go

2020-03-25 12:09:06 UTC

The leader cult may be a good opportunity here, since it does seem to leak outside of the Russia. Sizable portion of general public in slavic countries equates Russian government with Putin. The new leader should have a window to convince people that Russia have changed.

2020-03-25 12:09:48 UTC

Germany was made into a single nation by a Strong Leader

2020-03-25 12:09:48 UTC

If he'll just sit here and do nothing for a year or two, or continue the current politics, view won't change. Otherwise, there's a good chance.

2020-03-25 12:09:55 UTC

I believe so is necessary for the Slavs to Unite

2020-03-25 12:10:30 UTC

Putin is probably recent Vepsian who isn’t loyal to Russian people and has betrayed fugrics

2020-03-25 12:10:31 UTC

Before Otto, there was not even the concept of a pan-german state, no pan-german language

2020-03-25 12:10:37 UTC

But with his leadership, it happen

2020-03-25 12:10:58 UTC

If the Slavs are to unite, a powerful leader must do it.

2020-03-25 12:11:44 UTC

If they unite, it must he in their best interests long term and not under threat or coercion.

2020-03-25 12:12:05 UTC

The Slavs occupy unbelievable swaths of land, are are the largest White Cohort in existence

2020-03-25 12:12:09 UTC

Intense political polarization, not unlikely also supported by the current Russia itself, may make it hard for potential leader to emerge and be accepted.

2020-03-25 12:12:10 UTC

If united, their power - would be unmatched

2020-03-25 12:12:28 UTC

Very doubtful.

2020-03-25 12:12:35 UTC

So yeah, I agree that in accordance to your wishes, Putin is very bad leader.

2020-03-25 12:13:11 UTC

I believe the first step towards Pan-Slavism would be setting up a supranational government similar to the EU, but for Slavic Nations

2020-03-25 12:13:15 UTC

Their culure, in many slav nations is disgusting.

2020-03-25 12:13:36 UTC

Will fight for Poland though.

2020-03-25 12:13:42 UTC

Does it have place for national states, or would it be more like EU vision by Spinelli?

2020-03-25 12:14:42 UTC

@AsdfgQwert Gradual Integration

2020-03-25 12:15:01 UTC

For example, slowly merging national parliaments
