That’s what i’ve learned, and it’s the most truthful thing i can say.

Take it from someone that has been in a car wreck, had to rehabilitate numb legs, had surgery on a infection while awake, had 3-4 live threatening flu infections, and just recently had gut wrenching pain due to the removal of a hernia the size of a baseball.

I’ve seen some shit, but through all of it my drive to become better and stronger has never been lost.

Just the idea of hitting a new PR, and feeling the pain afterwards gives me hope. The arrival of self fulfillment is something that only you can decide, so never let weaknesses or pain prevent you from doing something virtuous.

Most of that stuff sounded like you just getting injured which isn't the same thing as self improvement but ok
