@seführ3r Have you learned any music theory for composing your own music?
5000+ I should say.
No. I can make my own songs but I have no knowledge in music theory I just play whatever sounds good. It takes long though I really ought to learn
I can play a mean bass, anything from Chromatic Fantasy to Pulling Teeth, but I cannot write a song for the life of me.
I can write the words but I dropped the ball on learning piano: I guess I've got some time to catch up on that though
@BoostyRB25 On one hand I'm kinda glad I never got into stonks or asset trading but on the other it seems pretty lucrative for the people who get invovled in it
It can be
I mean put it this way
I can be really great at strategic business solutions.
Hedging, risk mitigation, all that stuff, but options trading.
Gotta really detach the ole emotions.
Set your entries and exits
and not continually look at it
I believe that was probably my biggest mistake.
Just having a fearful window on it at times.
@BoostyRB25 cool send me your money
I've accepted mass casualties and the deaths of people around me so I think I've got the emotional detachment aspect down.
lol
You watch unrealized gains go down almost 50% talk to me then
@seführ3r Okay but you have to pay a premium back
Because I'm have control over the money
Not fairrrrr
And I've vested a considerable amount of time and effort, as well as risk/money into it
Just growing
I don't know: I've just never been a financially motivated person. Sure: trading with other people's money sounds stressful but frankly I'd be more worried about retribution from gilted clients
There's a man by the name of Michael Burry
He poured over the MBS prospectus' and actually saw beforehand that it was going to collapse.
He essentially bought MBS swaps (insurance if the prices/value of security falls)
His investors hated him when they saw he tied up their funds.
And couldn't relinquish control or the whole fund would go defunct.
The guy is "autistic", aka really focused, seemingly really intelligent too.
Long story short, after that whole incident, and I think a few investors tried suing.
I'm an autistic psychopath too lol
He closed the fund and trades for himself basically now.
Maybe other private trustees too but that's it really.
I like trading too, and I enjoy business.
But I've personally witnessed some of the ugliness of it firsthand.
People not understanding what they're buying, blaming you for it.
People trying to rip you off.
I would like to start a fund some day too.
