@galesteppes X is too hard, everyone else needs to be dragged down to my level

old math is hard we need to use new math where everything is right
math is really just about why we need diversity
How would you deal with a player that serially buffs their character between sessions- I keep notes on my PCs so when someone shows up with 2 more ac and a bunch more skills its pretty obvious, leads to arguments in sesh
what do you mean serially buffs their character between sessions?
>someone shows up with 2 more ac and a bunch more skills
demand an audit
demand them explain themselves
also I'd deal with it by throwing them out
if someone would do that in my game, it sounds like they arent fit to be in my game nor grouÄ
Now I'm not a d&d player
But he might just actually be playing in other groups inbetween sessions
if he's playing online his stuff is saved online. if he's playing irl theres a literal name on his sheet
Well like, have the guy show him his online game stats or his sheet or whatever
yeah bro if they are playing online theres this site called roll20 which most people use. basically the DM gives the player a sheet on that server where hte person can do their stuff. so it wont get changed or left unless the player chooses to change something. the DM can see the sheet whenever. @Son of Rome
So just ask the game moderator for his stats, ezpz
DM is dungeon moderator right?
And I think he should make the player explain why he is doing this, ask him to stop, or throw him out of the game.
Yes!
Awesome. Yeah I agree, if he's pulling some nonsense ask him wtf he's on about and tell him to cut the crap. If he does it again throw him out @wrath
I have personally never encountered a scenario like this as I have been very lucky with my players. But this is some type of bullshit that I would not be ok with.
Never actually sat down and played it. Way too much work
understandable. its a lot to learn if you are new. But after the first couple sessions it gets very easy to learn @Son of Rome
I really recomend trying it out
Probably will once the semester slows down. First few weeks are hard cause new professors and everyone tests differently
indeed
It's an irl group and I have his sheet between sessioms
During the session he'll try to use some ability like " I have written down I have +3 to throwing knives"- ok who gave you that, because my notes don't say shit about giving you that. Shit like that
I'm almost to the point of kicking him out just a lot more awkward in a irl group
Tired of arguing well if I didn't give it to you you didn't just yank it out of your asshole
