¯\_(ツ)_/¯
trying to make my friends play 3,5 or pathfinder with me aint working out 😔 @Dust
havent played pathfinder in months
5e plebs are scared of 3.5
because they're too used to easy mode
"I don't want to have to learn actual rules"
thing is, 3,5 would really fit us. we like discussing how to make pretty strong characters and planning ahead and yadda yadda
also big numbers are fun
and the abundance of books and shit is so good
yeah you've got way more customisation options in 3.5/pf
you're not just generic fighter #27
archetypes and prestige and etc
Lol imagine not playing AE
most of the prestige classes became subclasses in 5e @Dust
Arcana Evolved? The Monte Cook thing?
I honestly prefer prestige class system over 5es subclass and multiclass rules
@Dust @Almagafor advanced edition
advanced edition of what?
imagine trying to flex and getting the name completely wrong
Not even trying to flex
Just getting the name completely wrong

AD&D is what, like 1.5?
Kind of it's fun af tho, best campaign I ever had was 1st edition tho
So many dead characters
Got some 1st edition books too, but haven’t really ever played with anyone
Haven’t got anyone who knows what they’re doing in my group of friends so we haven’t ever really started
and back for the most part unless the player can be charismatic on their own its a failing forward type game. speed is its own because its that important and i want every stat to do someting important without being the "Best" stat.
i've hear of gurp but it's a d20 system. the group im with all know the basics of how warhammer works so its not the biggest jump.
STR - the mod effects DMG and carry weight
DEX - N/A (used for stealth stats)
CON - half the number is what each limb hp is. Chest hp is just the CON number.
CHAR - Mod effects you ability to gain renound.
INT - mod rank of tech you can work with
Weapon Skill - (your melee accuracy)
PER - your range accuracy (used in inti)
SPEED - 6 + (speed mod(5))= move speed in meters. (also used in inti)
hit chance on body parts is based on % chance after flipped roll eg. roll a 64 the number is 46 and you hit the chest.
Head : 01 - 10
R-Arm : 11 - 20
L-Arm : 21 - 30
Chest : 31 - 70
R-Leg : 71 - 85
L-Leg : 86 - 00
i dont mind if they buff speed to run from encounters because ranged is only good till guys with heavy armor get involved.
and... you cant run from a beak thing
@me to give me feed back or just to insult me IDFC
@NamasKnight I’m telling you speed should be spd
Just s
