My dad speaks german and my brother did some japanese at college so I suppose they'd be handy to bond with them, just doesn't seem like I run into too many Germans or Japanese people in my day to day. Ton of Chinese people and Muslims though.
the japanese have two alphabets, which is how you know they're superior to the koreans who only have one (who are in turn obviously superior to the chinese)
