Trying to pretend you aren't drunk nearly never works

2019-02-02 11:27:48 UTC

2019-02-02 11:27:51 UTC

that snow game

2019-02-02 11:27:58 UTC

game about the dyatlav incident

2019-02-02 11:28:01 UTC

Best you can do is pretend to be _less_ drunk

2019-02-02 11:28:01 UTC

I remember blowing at the metro

2019-02-02 11:28:13 UTC

I try to be regular

2019-02-02 11:28:15 UTC

It helps

2019-02-02 11:28:31 UTC

Awww man we had a child get knocked over by a door. Bearing in mind we were in full rush, the kid had been running around for like 15 minutes and had already bumped into me and another waitress (fully loaded with hot plates...) like 4 times and the parents did nothing. Then when the other girl pushed open the door which opens outwards to the customer area the kid was behind the door and the parent *flipped* like sure *now* you care and not the times your kid could have been clocked with a hot plate

2019-02-02 11:28:47 UTC

Snow horror game thing, played a little

2019-02-02 11:29:23 UTC

snow game then

2019-02-02 11:29:39 UTC

So basically the long dark but worse

2019-02-02 11:29:42 UTC

ffs coats you should've said something

2019-02-02 11:29:52 UTC

thats mental

2019-02-02 11:30:27 UTC

I'm so fucking glad my parents let me deal with shit myself as a child and weren't those helicoptery blame everyone else ones. If you fuck up you deal with it and learn from it.

2019-02-02 11:30:28 UTC

the long dark is quality

2019-02-02 11:30:43 UTC

never have i enjoyed freezing to death so much

2019-02-02 11:30:51 UTC

My mom was like that

2019-02-02 11:31:06 UTC

What can you say in that situation tho? I was so close to just yelling *"control your kids so we don't hurt them"* and the other waitress felt *so* bad she was crying. I settled for apologising and saying that *"we don't know whats on the other side of the door"* trying to hint on them controlling the kid

2019-02-02 11:31:10 UTC

She yeeted me out and said learn by yourself

2019-02-02 11:31:14 UTC

I was 6

2019-02-02 11:31:28 UTC

Nah say to them can you watch yer kids because if I have an accident ill scold them

2019-02-02 11:31:49 UTC

na thats sets people,off

2019-02-02 11:31:50 UTC

i've shouted at other people's kids before

2019-02-02 11:31:57 UTC

Id have done it anyways

2019-02-02 11:31:59 UTC

But if you try to tell a kid what to do the parents inevitably flip and yell

2019-02-02 11:32:01 UTC

its fucking dasngerous

2019-02-02 11:32:03 UTC

dangerous

2019-02-02 11:32:07 UTC

Just let it happen tho

2019-02-02 11:32:08 UTC

And the kids just get worse

2019-02-02 11:32:13 UTC

Natural selection

2019-02-02 11:32:16 UTC

And poor parenting

2019-02-02 11:33:22 UTC

I just hope that the experience teaches them, but it probably wont.

2019-02-02 11:33:36 UTC

it never does

2019-02-02 11:33:52 UTC

They’ll have something to remind them

2019-02-02 11:34:11 UTC

kids are horrible

2019-02-02 11:34:19 UTC

```Do not let your children do anything that makes you dislike them``` JBP is 💯 on this
2019-02-02 11:34:26 UTC
id rather the parents hit the child adn tehy stop than the child being scalded and scarred for life
