I assume it's a result of the DI not working as well in a larger caliber
I also would think that ar-10s tend to have longer barrels than m4s
and as such a longer gas system
I've heard they can be quite reliable just the cheaper ar-10s are questionable
Ah.
like 1000 less
or 1500 less
in general
Well the cheap 15's are probably not that reliable either.
It's not like you can stamp them out of a used shovel like the Aks
you can build a more than reliable ar for 800-550
its the ar-10s that are finnicky
A shame really.
they are fine
just a little expensive
7.62x51mm is the better caliber tbh.
than what?
5.56x45
it is more powerful not better
has more recoil less controllable
That's true.
guns have to weigh more
really different purposes
Yeah.
not really better
I wouldn't say 10mm is better than 9mm
I wouldn't say 45 acp is better than 9mm
What about .40?
That's my pistol tbh.
.40 is a good caliber
it's what most cops use these days
a little more than a 9mm
That's kind of what I was thinking when I bought it.
the fbi originally used 10mms
Just more common ammo types in US.
than they realzied the fbi were limp wristed
and they started loading them soft
As good as the moist nugget is you can't really find 7.62x54r
and then they starting making smaller caliber 40 s&w
Just pricey and you have to find the right spot for it.
