I think it has to do with the walkaway form the plantation thing
basically encouraging african americans to walk away from the democratic party "plantation" which is supposedly keeping them poor and such

Ah Yakima County, not bad. Yeah King County is like one of the only blue counties in the whole state. Most of the state around King County is mainly PURE RED. They even have republican stands at county fairs
Don't let King County fool you, actually Washington in 2016 was going to be Red until Seattle voted
