Weird how breeds of dogs have temperaments right

2018-10-31 15:59:26 UTC

Weird how dogs that have never seen a sheep know how to herd

2018-10-31 15:59:54 UTC

Yet some of these dog breeds have only been around for one or two hundred years

2018-10-31 16:00:07 UTC

Evolution doesn't affect the neck up, clearly.

2018-10-31 16:01:22 UTC

So different breeds of the same species with different personality modifiers based on genetics

2018-10-31 16:01:24 UTC

Hmmmm

Woah dude stop

2018-10-31 16:02:37 UTC

You're btfoing my argument by calling me mean words

2018-10-31 16:02:39 UTC

Please

2018-10-31 16:02:59 UTC

You can't address the point

2018-10-31 16:03:01 UTC

Go home

2018-10-31 16:04:22 UTC

What point, that you justify racism by pseudo science?

2018-10-31 16:05:01 UTC

Dog breeds are pseudoscience?

2018-10-31 16:05:03 UTC

News to me.

2018-10-31 16:05:17 UTC

Corgis and Great Danes are exactly the same.

2018-10-31 16:05:19 UTC

>human breeds

2018-10-31 16:05:23 UTC

All dogs are equal man

2018-10-31 16:05:44 UTC

What is the difference between a breed and an ethnicity. Both are caused by divergence and genetic separation

2018-10-31 16:05:49 UTC

There is only one breed, the dog breed.

2018-10-31 16:06:02 UTC

Dog breeds have been around for even shorter amounts of times by thousands of orders of magnitude

2018-10-31 16:06:08 UTC

Why are humans different

2018-10-31 16:06:39 UTC

>corgis around for 150 years
Wow such divergent traits
>Aussie Aboriginals around and isolated for 50k years
EXACTLY THE SAME AS ME

2018-10-31 16:07:02 UTC

That is indeed what I am saying

2018-10-31 16:07:19 UTC

Ethnicity is not a breed prick

2018-10-31 16:07:22 UTC

"Haha I AM a retard as you claim! Checkmate!"

2018-10-31 16:07:33 UTC

@Toro how is it not

2018-10-31 16:07:38 UTC

What is the difference

2018-10-31 16:09:04 UTC

Do you have even a mild understanding of anthropology?

2018-10-31 16:09:07 UTC

Both
1: Caused by genetic isolation/divergence.
2: Have fundamental traits that include intelligence and personality.

2018-10-31 16:09:21 UTC

What is the difference?

2018-10-31 16:09:38 UTC

Answer that, stop dancing around it, it's not a sombrero.

A breed is a group of domestic animals or plants with homogeneous genotype and phenotype, created by humans through controlled breeding, in other words, through artificial selection. Although humans do show some phenotypic and genotypic variation by geographical origin, the concept is more complicated biologically because there is no precise demarcation, as humans have not been bred by anyone to have certain characteristics. Geographic isolation, and natural or sexual selection, have resulted in some alleles being more frequent in some groups that in others, and ancestry determines the distribution of some genes. That is basically it, from a biological point of view.

2018-10-31 16:12:23 UTC

Alleles are what

2018-10-31 16:12:31 UTC

Genes that determine traits?

2018-10-31 16:12:39 UTC

Key word -> Demarcation

2018-10-31 16:12:45 UTC

I'm not saying new ethnic groups are formed in 150 years like corgis

2018-10-31 16:12:59 UTC

But 50k years of isolation of relatively homogenous groups is a big deal.

2018-10-31 16:13:23 UTC

Demarcation is entirely subjective.

2018-10-31 16:13:31 UTC

Species are species because we call them so.
