The age of something has little to do with it's validity especially when we know how reliable the Bible is
The bible would definitely be a lot more different had it been written today
Certain parts at least
well clearly
It would adjust to the culture yes
So the names, places, and customs might change.
There have been advances in science
That would change some of the writings
like?
Maybe the way god created the universe would be different
It might incorporate the big bang
That's speculation
that isn't a criticism at all
I was raised non religious read half the Bible and lost to much iq to finish
It is likely that many of the things would change due to science
But Anon that is again not an actual criticism of it's validity
My point is that the bible was made when many people believed in things that we would call "Crazy" today.
Some of these beliefs probably influenced the bible
Anon are you ever going to provide a real criticism of the Bible?
That's my criticism. The bible was written by people who believed in things that we would call "crazy" today. Many of the things in the bible are likely influenced by these crazy beliefs. This undermines its credibility.
And it's globalist in nature
there is two sound criticisms
Not really if you don't have an objective moral basis of your own
and that ignores a lot of the reasonings for this
someone clearly has not read Revelation
Hello
How you guys doing
@Obungus bible big fake news change my mind
Provide me with your primary criticism
It was written by people who believed in crazy things
not you anon
I do not deny the entire bible, but most of the stories are made by those who wrote it
@Obungus Do you honestly think that the Red Sea was actually parted
Christianity has it's own moral code. Of which it choose to be meek and only seek defensive options
yeah I do
Jesus was a pacifist
If God can create the universe he can part a sea
not really
"love thy enemy"
I will write a book that says that John Adams is a god
