Like everyone else, pretty stunned about the North Korea summit going so well. I can’t tell what Kim’s end game is, so I doubt what was discussed will bear fruit but we’ll have to see

My guess is that NK just wants supplies so they will play nice to get support, then flip at some point.

Thing with Trump is I don't think he'll be that easygoing with giving another country free stuff

Them reuniting with South Korea and becoming an ally with the US would be a long term gain

Hopefully this means that their people eventually benefit as well, and NK becomes Capitalist

A reunited Korea would be unlikely to be an ally of the US

Or rather unlikely to be fully aligned to the US. They may be nominal allies though

I just really don't want the US to support them financially. I don't want my tax dollars going to rocket man.

Now we finally have a president that isn't always "yeah sure, take all of our money and country", not even making business deals. Just giving the other nations satisfaction, but ruining ours at the same time
