I just think facebook has more political motivation if anything and that their move was due to them feeling "obligated" to steer people towards what they deem to be acceptable points of view. But your view on that matter could very well be the truth. Either way, I've always been against that sort of censorship. But i dont expect facebook to be shut down due to it. I will just not use it. Which I dont anyways.

then less than 5 years later, or even 3 years later, I'm hearing horror stories bout kids in school being cyber-bullied so bad that they're hanging themselves in closets b/c they won't tell their parents about it

it's way worse than the bullying I experienced in school, because now kids have strangers of all ages from around the world joining in on the bullying, not just the creeps within the sphere of their school
