There is a trend in generations, this is loose on the topic but, my parents grew up in old houses, with old furniture. So now they prefer to decorate their own houses with very modern decor and things. And for me, i've sort of rebelled too, subconciously i prefer much older things, cars, houses, almost everything.

I feel like things like milennials and gen z and gen alpha and baby boomers follow a similar pattern

but its a common theme

but to me, when your parents teach you something, depending on the person, some will rebel against it

and some will follow it

Well being conservative is all about tradition, similar to the "good old days".

I dont know, I think it's just a matter of if you're an old soul for not
