Every dollar **AFTER** 10 million
But it's still hard earned money.
So the first 10 million is taxed normall6y
well she should know that it's ineffective
the 1% don't get paid such high salaries
The rich get taxed too much, they earned it fair and square.
jeff bezos, 137 billion, makes 80k a year
Can you provide a source for that?
<:pepeOrly:531514367917686844> Only 80k, everything else is a business expense <:pepeOrly:531514367917686844>
shh don't tell the sec that
Uh huh. Yeah, I think that we both know Jeff Bezos is realistically making MUCH more than that man.
oh yeah he makes thousands a minute
but none of that is getting taxed
Sadly
So much for making money fair and square and contributing to society.
I don't think people who hard-earn their money need to contribute to anything.
Those business dinners and flights 😛 1.6mil
A regular American? You mean a Hollywood billionaire?
just putting everything on the company card
Lol
They can’t fire u
Is that what you call `Macaulay Culkin` @chad ? <:think_right:415551072120078347>
well they can sadly ðŸ˜
Only if it’s a public company
If they contribute nothing, how will society function? Taxes are needed to make society function.
If I ever was a ceo I’d never go public
well his money comes from his ownership of amazon right about 16%
but the only time the stock is taxed is if it is sold and been held for a year
but since bezos only makes 80k a year, he's not in the highest bracket, so his stocks are taxed at 5% when they vest
`They can’t fire u` That's what his wife said <:lul:509551045245009920>
How does he make money?
by selling stock
Every time he wants to buy something he has to sell stock?
nah
he sells off at a very specific time announced months before hand
Oh
else he could get cracked down on insider trading or god knows what
Btw Luz
