Yeah well it's a chat luckily.
not like actual shouting matches but if you're aggressive and loud
No calls.
ohh
yeah I'll be there
<#536758188016402452>
9PM EST good for you?
That's the time we concluded but we're seeing how things run first.
hm on saturday? I might be with friends
maybe I'll have em join
Sounds good.
a saturday night is kinda rough, won't everyone be out having fun?
We'll see how it goes first.
Hopefully we get both sides in there, and conservatives with different views.
Yeah I don't think you'll struggle with that, there's such a huge spread of people in here
from like pure libertarians to religious zealots to ranknfile republicans
We don't mind having liberals, just not an abundance since this is a pro-Trump server.
yeah I appreciate that my presence is tolerated. I learn so much from being here
Would you always consider yourself a liberal or would you ever be persuaded to go right?
My drive is to help humanity, I don't care what labels or methods are involved in that
I get into a lot of arguments with the liberals I know irl, don't know many conservatives where I am
Which state you in?
except from my fraternity, and they hadn't really thought out their ideas fully
Oregon
on a university campus
Democratic state.
liberal heaven lmao
Yup.
Pretty sure most Republican state is Alabama.
it has an interesting effect on local politics. here, republican politicians are super moderate and I agree with them on a lot of stuff, and dems go too hard to the left sometimes
or not too hard to the left but like... because they are entrenched power they do things that harm citizens
it's a problem in any state with too much support for one party for too long
Actually the most Republican state is Wyoming
Most liberal state is Hawaii
yeah that seems more right
people tend to overestimate how republican the south really is, even the ones who live there
same goes with the northeast with how democratic it is
yeah I mean most state elections are within points of eachother
it's not like oregon democrats win with 60+% every time
it's fairly divided everywhere
