i see

2019-02-14 05:57:43 UTC

kk sec telling the ppl the argument

2019-02-14 05:57:59 UTC

No more hoes popping out 10 babies getting a free ride

2019-02-14 05:58:06 UTC

well

2019-02-14 05:58:11 UTC

with UBI you wouldnt be getting a free ride

2019-02-14 05:58:13 UTC

which is sometimes necessary practically or else everyone just dies (like national defense) but most times (especially in controversial issues) it's best imo to limit government spending

2019-02-14 05:58:19 UTC

the money would only be able to pay for small things like food or maybe gas

2019-02-14 05:58:22 UTC

Which I understand fully as someone whose father was incapable of work but denied welfare.

2019-02-14 05:58:25 UTC

you wouldnt be able to survive off of it alone

2019-02-14 05:58:27 UTC

and would be forced to get a job

2019-02-14 05:58:39 UTC

it would just solve the issue of people having to work multiple jobs at once just to get by

2019-02-14 05:58:44 UTC

hmm

2019-02-14 05:58:46 UTC

I don’t want to work.

2019-02-14 05:59:05 UTC

but you wouldnt be able to survive on UBI if you just stoped working

2019-02-14 05:59:05 UTC

but then that incentivizes employers to lower their wages since the government is paying a portion of living wage

2019-02-14 05:59:11 UTC

I wonder if I could sell myself to science. I have insomnia

2019-02-14 05:59:14 UTC

and with UBI there would be no more welfare or unemployment

2019-02-14 05:59:44 UTC

since the state covers living wages (which btw, San Francisco) employers could just "sell" themselves to labor as "extra money for what you want"

2019-02-14 05:59:47 UTC

so wages would go down

2019-02-14 05:59:52 UTC

if I understand that correctly

2019-02-14 06:00:41 UTC

I think you miss the point of money though. The lowest possible amount would be reduced to zero. Prices for everything else would go up negating the effect.

2019-02-14 06:00:45 UTC

and the only reason I'm not on principle against this is because it makes no sense to build a society off of social darwinism if there are some who could have made it to the top but literally were stopped because of factors other than themselves

2019-02-14 06:01:06 UTC

so to that extent I'll agree with UBI

2019-02-14 06:01:15 UTC

but I still think it isn't very smart

2019-02-14 06:01:27 UTC

it's fixing something that isn't broken

2019-02-14 06:01:30 UTC

Why can’t Jeff bezos give me 1 mil so I can pay off some debt and invest the rest?

2019-02-14 06:01:39 UTC

bro same

2019-02-14 06:01:49 UTC

He doesn’t need billions

2019-02-14 06:02:04 UTC

Again. The age of technology. The only barriers that exist are the ones we create for ourselves.

2019-02-14 06:02:05 UTC

I’d be fine 250k

2019-02-14 06:02:13 UTC

I bEt jEFf bEzOS WouLDNt MisS $50,000,000

2019-02-14 06:02:25 UTC

Right. I sure could use it

2019-02-14 06:03:05 UTC

I’d even adopt a few dogs

2019-02-14 06:03:17 UTC

Rather than force the government to pay everyone, we should work to create better charities and private organizations to assist with broke people.

2019-02-14 06:03:21 UTC

cause if he gives u money than he has to give everyone money

2019-02-14 06:03:37 UTC

No. Just me would be okay.

2019-02-14 06:03:39 UTC

@LPR brother I honestly wish that were possible

2019-02-14 06:03:40 UTC

lol

2019-02-14 06:03:45 UTC

I just don't actually think it is

2019-02-14 06:03:47 UTC

It is.

2019-02-14 06:03:49 UTC

eh
