Typical Libtard ..
hi everyone
I've stayed neutral on the Iran vs Trump thing till now, but I wanted to know what Trump supporters actually feel about Iranian people
I don't trust Iran and generally not Iranians due to how much they tend to be very anti-American but on an individual basis I don't hold anything against Iranians.
@Obungus anti American Iranians aren't as common as you think, the flag burning and things you see tends to be a minority of Iranians. there's also videos of Americans traveling to Iran and Iranians showing love with open arms, keep in mind that 65 percent of Iranians are not happy with the Islamic republic
It's not really an issue of whether or not the majority do or do not support it. I doubt that quite that many people would be so hateful but it's hard to tell who's who from across the world.
Politics removed, I consider Iran to be one of the great societies of history and respect it for that.
thanks man
I hope we can have close ties once again
like the times of the great Shah
There is quite a lot in the way of that, I too hope we can re-establish friendly relations in the near future.
isnt that where theres honor killings on woman?
wait what?
@Obungus it's crazy how far apart we're now, not too long ago Iran was considered one of America's closest allies
It's quite fascinating what a revolution can do
I'd call it a "devolution' lol
Most revolutions are devolutions.
Or at least they have no visible positive outcome in the short term.
@Sherman VC Firefly not true
I’m not a republican
I’m a constitutionalist
I'm leaning Constitutionalist.
@Colonel Sanders™ The American Revolution was an exception, yes.
The french revolution
i guess i would agree that a lot are devolutions
The French Revolution IS a Prime example of failed revolution in the short term.
but not most
but short term is not the goal of a revolution
True.
But for the short term, a lot of revolutions are failures.
i mean
i dont know what revolutionaries expect
I believe a lot of revolutionaries are misguided.
overthrowing the current social structure and government is obviously in the hsort term going to lead to chaos
Not all but certainly a lot
@Colonel Sanders™ Agreed.
Maintaining the status quo is important. If one wants change, a violent overthrow is not the way. It is important to engage in civil discussions.
agreed aswell
