Tbh I thought they did a bad job of settling my situation. It set me up to continually seek outside help to solve my issues as a kid and I only figured out how to be more self reliant when I changed school later down the line and had better teachers

In short, I was taught to fight back and outmaneuver them. Basically outsmart them. I took down a guy 3 times my size and 3 years older than me. I'm 4'11 now- so then I was 4 or under that and weighed nothing. This boy called my fried a stupid n****r with malicious intent. He was standing right in front of his bike. I knew if I rushed him, I could use his weight and size against him. My dad had taught me how to punch right. He did exactly as I predicted. I rushed him, make him trip over his bike, landing on his back. His legs got tangled in the bike and he was helpless. I gave him two black eyes and a fat lip.
