id say the only reason religion exists, is because most people need a belief system to stay docile, or are too afraid to think of any other truth other than what they were born in

That's the big reason why so many religions are against birth control and stuff. They get their numbers through kids rather than conversion

If you keep your birth rate up you get a new generation of followers. If you don't you have to try to convert adults who are not as easily convinced and were probably raised in a different religion
