In my college, some lecturers of mine have to take humanities subjects aside from what their speciality is
I know, it ia
Especially in KSA, where female expats can't do shit aside from medicine and teaching because Saudi
i mean over here a lot of majors, especially if you are gonna be working with people have you take a few social and humanities courses
to get a better perspective on the range of those you'll be educating
increasing world view n such
My tuition teacher had an engineering degree, and she was teaching 5th graders
RIP
oof
Because she couldn't reach high school cause she only did undergraduate
And neither did she have an education degree
Mom: So... was that engineering degree worth it?
Her: *teaching 5th graders* ...I guess?
We have a running joke in my place
@Vlad The Impaler me if I don't get out of here
Oof
'engineers can be anything except engineers'
Because the market is so full and cheapened that it's easier to do other things

I am planning to start my career as a python programmer say
For that same position on entry level
I am having the same skill set as a person who has a certification course on that language
You can get that course anytime in your life, and still have the same competition
A few social and humanities courses, Hm
ye like sociology n stuff
Sounds curious.
As an average college kid in the coding degree of 4 years
Though from what I’ve heard, social sciences is not the most credible, but it’s a science nonetheless it has some reliability.
whaddya mean by not the most credible?
Hm, like not the most scientific
I mean, it is social sciences
Not pure sciences
Fair enough
i mean they follow very similar processes of research
cuz like
But researching on it will get you that cash
i get what you mean when you hear science you think
physics chemical makeup this and that
And so will getting work as a social worker, at least enough to survive
