Lije

2020-01-17 14:25:38 UTC

I am doing a coding degres

2020-01-17 14:26:10 UTC

I am planning to start my career as a python programmer say

2020-01-17 14:26:21 UTC

For that same position on entry level

2020-01-17 14:26:50 UTC

I am having the same skill set as a person who has a certification course on that language

2020-01-17 14:27:23 UTC

You can get that course anytime in your life, and still have the same competition

2020-01-17 14:27:26 UTC

A few social and humanities courses, Hm

2020-01-17 14:27:38 UTC

ye like sociology n stuff

2020-01-17 14:27:46 UTC

Sounds curious.

2020-01-17 14:27:57 UTC

As an average college kid in the coding degree of 4 years

2020-01-17 14:28:36 UTC

Though from what I’ve heard, social sciences is not the most credible, but it’s a science nonetheless it has some reliability.

2020-01-17 14:29:07 UTC

whaddya mean by not the most credible?

2020-01-17 14:29:21 UTC

Hm, like not the most scientific

2020-01-17 14:29:34 UTC

I mean, it is social sciences

2020-01-17 14:29:40 UTC

Not pure sciences

2020-01-17 14:29:45 UTC

Fair enough

2020-01-17 14:29:50 UTC

i mean they follow very similar processes of research

2020-01-17 14:29:53 UTC

cuz like

2020-01-17 14:30:00 UTC

But researching on it will get you that cash

2020-01-17 14:30:08 UTC

i get what you mean when you hear science you think

2020-01-17 14:30:20 UTC

physics chemical makeup this and that

2020-01-17 14:30:22 UTC

And so will getting work as a social worker, at least enough to survive

2020-01-17 14:30:27 UTC

No not really

2020-01-17 14:30:31 UTC

but it's just really a different topic base

2020-01-17 14:30:33 UTC

Makeup?

2020-01-17 14:30:37 UTC

When I think science, it’s the method/process

2020-01-17 14:30:38 UTC

chemical make up

2020-01-17 14:30:44 UTC

Okay

2020-01-17 14:30:54 UTC

then social science is no different in terms of method/process

2020-01-17 14:31:06 UTC

Yes

2020-01-17 14:31:06 UTC

Is that so?

2020-01-17 14:31:17 UTC

or very sparingly so, as much as it would be between any other science

2020-01-17 14:31:19 UTC

Both require studies

2020-01-17 14:31:34 UTC

mhm

2020-01-17 14:31:36 UTC

Both follow a similar process of getting resulrs

2020-01-17 14:31:51 UTC

theories studies observation hypothesis testing trends

2020-01-17 14:31:58 UTC

viewing data etc

2020-01-17 14:32:01 UTC

^^

2020-01-17 14:32:02 UTC

Hm, getting to know about sociology, maybe I got get some knowledge about that from my older cousin, he studies it.

2020-01-17 14:32:05 UTC

coming to conclusions

2020-01-17 14:32:13 UTC

Could go get*
