Yeah true enough.

2020-01-24 08:07:43 UTC

Especially with fuel and agriculture

2020-01-24 08:07:46 UTC

Also, it's not like the EU is going to want to just stop selling to the UK altogether.

2020-01-24 08:08:05 UTC

Just a little extra tax and shit.

2020-01-24 08:08:17 UTC

Yea, but will the UK want to have open trade with the EU

2020-01-24 08:08:27 UTC

I mean... yes?

2020-01-24 08:08:37 UTC

Or limited trade

2020-01-24 08:08:39 UTC

The UK has product it wants to sell and product it wants to buy.

2020-01-24 08:08:46 UTC

Some of that product is European.

2020-01-24 08:08:56 UTC

Which America is willing to purchase in mass

2020-01-24 08:09:22 UTC

It's definitely going to be an interesting year for the UK and America

2020-01-24 08:09:37 UTC

There's also british cultural exports. I imagine there's British expatriates who still want to watch their homegrown TV.

2020-01-24 08:10:03 UTC

Definitely plausible

2020-01-24 08:10:28 UTC

And America just isn't going to buy 100% of the UK's exports. There's Scots to sell scotch to after all.

2020-01-24 08:10:52 UTC

Scots are apart of the UK

2020-01-24 08:10:58 UTC

Hahaa

2020-01-24 08:10:58 UTC

Yes that was the joke.

2020-01-24 08:11:01 UTC

They make the Scotch.

2020-01-24 08:11:04 UTC

Then drink it.

2020-01-24 08:11:49 UTC

The trick is the issue with Northern Ireland, Ireland and the sea between them and the UK

2020-01-24 08:11:55 UTC

Anyway, there's also the fact that the UK also *already* trades with many, many partners outside of Europe and will most likely continue to do so at the same rate.

2020-01-24 08:14:04 UTC

Possible for sure

2020-01-24 08:14:37 UTC

I mean how would Feb 1st change that?

2020-01-24 08:18:46 UTC

I believe trade as a EU member is established as an internal item, but when the UK leaves, they and the Eu are no longer bound to that agreement when they first entered the EU

2020-01-24 08:19:44 UTC

They still have their trade infrastructure and workers. The EU probably won't get the UK's property in the divorce.

2020-01-24 08:20:58 UTC

No of course not. It's more likely that there is a continuance clause for trade until a new agreement is establishe

2020-01-24 08:21:44 UTC

Okay let's say that takes like... a week to sort out, being catastrophic as possible about it. Everything's back to normalcy pretty quick.

2020-01-24 08:22:17 UTC

Possible

2020-01-24 08:22:28 UTC

But we shall see eh?

2020-01-24 08:38:00 UTC

What's the deal with Brexit? Specifically, why leftists seem vehemently opposed to the UK leaving the EU?

2020-01-24 08:43:20 UTC

I'm just trying to figure out what the EU offers them that they would defend it with the same energy and zeal that they use to attack Trump.

2020-01-24 08:51:59 UTC

There's nothing wrong with Brexit. The EU limits the UK's autonomy and forced things that they politically opposed on their country.

2020-01-24 08:52:50 UTC

Hey lib.

2020-01-24 08:53:01 UTC

The UK will now have full autonomy in regards to defense, finance, trade and legislation without i fluence from the EU

2020-01-24 08:53:05 UTC
2020-01-24 08:53:13 UTC

Those things are favored by the leftists, which is why they oppose Brexit?

2020-01-24 08:53:49 UTC

Its almost plane time

2020-01-24 08:54:17 UTC

I keep having to remind my self the Americ's right is the UK's left

2020-01-24 08:54:22 UTC

@Everyone's Mother safe travels

2020-01-24 08:55:15 UTC

If I dont respond later today, it means the the plane crashed
