healthcare is free here and that's why we're failing and hospitals are closing 🙃
my local A&E is gonna get closed meaning my nearest hospital would be an hour away
Healthcare is also failing in the US so
It's not really about public or private but about how well it is managed and the controls put in place to protect against abuse
It's failing here because immigrants are treating the sniffles like an emergency
and hogging up resources
For example - allowing anyone to walk in and get care

i mean it's not just immigrants, it's also stupid cunts that think everythings an emergency but it's mostly immigrants

But our system certainly isn't failing because of it
Meanwhile I sprained a leg, it still hurts after a week on and off and I can't afford to go to the doctor
My husband works in healthcare - specifically educating RNs on the primary healthcare model
Legit almost fainted from the pain yesterday outside

So I actually do know a little about the system, how it works, what problems there are and why for the most part those problems exist
And the stats also weigh in favor of public healthcare costing substantially less taxpayer dollars than private
