it's harder to use then it looks
oof, that's a thing about martial arts
easier to understand the technique, harder to apply it
the triangle armbar is 1 of the easier ones in the video
just like physics smh
yep that too
it's an arm breaking technique as well as a choke
but you risk getting slammed
oof
tbh i just wanna be atleast capable enough to twart any attacks
and i probably suck ass at it considering ive never been openly attacked
but, hopefully when the time comes, i don't die?
just run
even if you can fight it's better to run
ofc first thing imma do is run
ofc
i'm just thinking about emergencies
like in case i really really gotta fight
you need to practise that stuff a lot honestly
i hope i don't die out of my own accord rip
and quite frankly it can also be difficult to find legitimate instructors
uh huh
there's red flags to gyms that people don't know about
you better teach me muay thai if i ever am in uk
like?
so many xD
bruh i'm naive, spell out those red flags for me
if they don't offer free trials, if they don't do sparring, if they say that they have a certain technique that works on anyone every single time
non resistance training
non resistance training?
also, anything that doesn't give out free trials first thing (if it is a long term thing) can be doubted on sight
it's usually a scenario where 1 person is given a toy weapon and "attacks" the other in a predictable pattern and lets the defender pull off some elaborate and beautiful looking move
pretty much yeah, because if they don't give people a free trial it means they just care about making money
oof, that could help a beginner
exactfucking ly
what could help a beginner?
god, so many cases, especially in the coachinf business, can you see those that do not give out free trials to be mad shady
non resistance training?
it doesnt
sounds like you'd need to learn on a dummy first
