Okay, going to see if I can get video done before I fall asleep.
@Bird_Goes_Beep on the excel document it show "portions" which could mean what I said earlier about portions of the farm being expropriate not the whole farm
Aha. Thanks.
Check out Erf 145 in my posting
It doesn't mean its one owner
I think its one owner. If he ever wanted to sell a part of his farm then he sells that portion. Couple thousand hectares will be multiple portions in the registry 3/4.
EWC could claim one portion as I mentioned before.
All portions can be diffrent owners as it stands.
It could be but the list names the farm and associated portion.
Meaning one farm/one owner
Yes cause that is how properties are identified
If it has been subdivided and registered at the deeds office it's portion / erf
Otherwise each allocated portion would have been listed a farm name on that list
Meaning that portion 1 of erf 145 is I separate property in my example
Yip i get what you saying. The list however only list s one farm name
Which translates to one owner owning those portions
Nope
Farm names existed before erf numbers.
When erf numbers was allocated it was allocated to the then owner. If it was divided it was then given a portion number
Farmers own multiple portions
Apparently the other portions of erf 145 is owned by Blacks
That is word from my cousin that lives there
As you can see the land is not unproductive
Erf 145 and Erf 224 weenen could mean rented land as it is not clearly defined on that list.
video is up, and I'm going to bed.
the list indicates "unknown" for the property you mention
For interest sake Andries Pretorius's House is within 5km from those pieces of land in Weenen..
Yeah it has na ERF number so its part of town. I think that is where we are missing each other.Sorry man
Here it is. Its on Land Claimed land the family is still renting back from the community
This is now where argriforum lawyer will kick in. Interesting times ahead.
What are we (me) missing... how can this go on if the changes to the constitution is not in place?
Imagine the poor farmer next door to a new squatter camp
anyone here have a farm on the list?
Nope just know the owner of two
Yeah trying to relay the message to him
@Guss nothing can happen without change in the constitution first. the owner can simply block it via the court, the ANC first needs to ammend then they can EWC
Ramaphosa now knows he needs to act before the elections in 2019, i think he was playing for time to get more votes for the ANC, hence delaying this process as much as he can.
