yes wife has some but they are the ones that dont give much
That's why I opened the accounts for the grandchildren.
Dad had some investments in the Trust, but also some outside the Trust.
It's really complicated, and I have to figure it out with the lawyers and brokers.
And no, I'm not going to be a millionaire.
Not even close
well it is always best to have investments in different places so you cant loose it all at one time
That's certainly what Dad did.
What a mess, though.
It will all work out.
he did the right thing
I have to retitle things from the Living Trust to the Survivor Trust, then split it in half
Some can be split and others have to be liquidated. Uggghhh!
yes it makes it harder for you to figure things out whan you are doing it
And it's not like there's tons of money in any of them.
But I've been helping the parents with financial stuff for about 3 years
That's why they made me Trustee and Executrix.
is there was wouldnt that have been great i have never inherated anything in my seventy two years from no one
Do you get together with your chldren and grandchldren for Christmas?
(My father was very smart - we never knew how much)
goinng to put tea on wife is doing something brb
ok
@Gailm it must be hare for you to get ready for christmas and get the work all done as well as have to work yourself
It, is, but I have off work until next Friday.
I should be able to get some stuff done.
I'm going to Mom's today to wash blankets
that is good to get a chance to get more done
Then the girls will meet me there tomorrow with the Pickup and we'll move small furniture.
Getting things done slowly.
But my house is a pig stye.
Need to get stuff done here, too.
Documents, straightening up, making space for the hutch and dining room furniture
isent it costing more money to keep the apertment going while you get the work done
And the two lift chairs I just bought them for an anniversary present.
It's costing almost $2,000/month.
We need to get it closed before the end of the month!
We already paid for November and December.
god move everything to your basement and dont spend that kind of money
than do the work you have to do
They're charging a life care fee - meaning if Mom had to move from the apartment to nursing home she'd pay a lower rate.
