One side of the church goes all cold and starchy with manufactured holiness. Another side goes overboard towards fanaticism, manufacturing spirituality. Both sides leave the Word at some point. The way lies somewhere down the middle, relying on the leadership of the Holy Spirit. When you substitute a mans leadership for the leadership of the Holy Spirit, you die in your tracks.

@imig Well I suppose you could read it that way. That's OK but there are other gods spoken of in the Bible. gods of wood and stone and made by the hands of man. None of them have any wisdom, or indeed the ability to think.
