Let's consider a subject that, in my opinion, is misunderstood and in fact is the very fundament (foundation) of understanding. 'Revelation' is maligned, I think, mostly because it has been used to spread error and deceit by false prophets who have lain in wait to lead Gods children down the wrong path. If you think clearly, however, you may realize you can't throw the baby out with the bath water. Gods word has come to us down through the millennia by men who received revelation from God. In fact the New Testament Church, I believe, is built on it. Look at Mathew 16:16-18 KJV. "And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, 'Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not REVEALED it unto thee, but my father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this Rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it". I believe that rock is the REVELATION of who Jesus is, the Christ, the Son of the Living God.
