I just noticed a mistake in the Isaiah passage purporting to be KJV. The last word in verse 8 is shown as reward. Mt bible shows that word as rereward, which has a completely different definition. You know what a reward is but I'll bet you don't know what rereward means. It's an old English word composed of two words, rere (rear) and ward (guard}. In other words, the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard. You don't have to worry about evil creeping up behind you. You can focus on the fight in front of you. Go forth in faith Patriots, knowing that the Lord has your back.

And so I wondered what goes before us, and thinking about the taking of Jericho, I looked at Joshua 6:13 KJV.

The TRUMPETS went with the armed men and the Ark of the Lord, with the rereward following after. A trumpet sounds an alarm or a message (check 1 Corinthians 14:8 KJV).

I'm in need of prayers. We've barely been hanging on the past year. We are 5 payments from having our semi-truck paid for and the engine just seized up. I don't know what we're going to do. We can't afford to pay for a new engine. Can't even afford to get my husband home. He's stuck in Cheyenne, WY.

@CuriousCarol I can't tell you how many miles I've traveled on an empty gas tank by prayer. A wheel bearing, totally burnt up, went 30 miles and when checked was perfect. Recently I had a flat tire in the middle of nowhere. I had a tire but no rim. I prayed and along came a farm service truck. The fellow helped me switch out the tire and wouldn't take my money. God is always there, just waiting for us to call upon Him. He loves you.

Well, it's been a stressful day today but productive. Hubby is going to be towed to Colorado from Wyoming (truck and trailer) by Colorado Freightliner tonight AND they are putting him up in a holiday inn for the weekend.
