Man is constantly praising God for what He has done, looking forward to what He will do, but failing to recognize what He's doing right now.

God is so great that we miss Him in His simplicity. He uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise, and the weak things to overcome the strong.
He hides himself in simplicity and the reveals himself in the same.
