@Shadetree49 It would be simpler if what I wanted was financial prosperity. Most days I think I don't have money because I don't seek it. Not being able, or perhaps willing, to accomplish what I thought was my purpose is what is weighing on my spirit. Jesus delivered me from a life of sin and abuse. Taking the red pill has released me from the matrix and (mostly) cured my DID. This past year has been one setback after another and what I first believed was only the enemy attacking me has turned into doubts about what the Lord is truly calling me to do. Sometimes the pressure of "you were born for such a time as this" is overwhelming. Most days I just long for the time Peter speaks of. To selfishly be gone from this place and home where I belong. I am not a good evangelist, but thought my art was testimony enough. I had been recently so comfy in my little healing bubble. Trust the [pop]? Reeeeee!! @Burnin4Jesus Well, I sort of know what you're going through, although each of us has different circumstances we're all fighting the same enemy. He only has just so many arrows in his quiver. I've been in this fight for nearly 50 years now. At times it's exciting and at times it's frustrating and at times I too wondered if it was all worth it. If it hadn't been for the Lord always being there to pick me up when I fell, giving me that still small voice in the night and when I needed it a boot firmly planted up my backside, I would have given up. In fact I did give up a few times and then I found Him waiting around the next corner and all was well again.
