just to explain it once more to help it make sense to you, the call in procuder is

caller joins prescreening channel. mod screens them then moves them to the on deck channel.

caller waits in the on deck channel for their turn on air.

when the host is ready to take a call they will drag the caller from the ondeck channel into the onair channel.

while in the ondeck channel its advised to keep mic muted.
but of course when moved to on air, unmute so you can speak on air.

post rally edit to add ETA: thank god the rally went well, and no violence occured, i cant help but to wonder how much was done behind the scenes to make that happen, we saw the fbi arresting provocatuers who had plans to disrupt the event, so we know efforts were made to stop such acts before they could occur, who knows the scale of that effort, thank god for all who made that event go so smoothly.
