na i cant do that, she moved to fl while i was deployed
Was there any Order in place?
yes there was
Has she been there six months?
nope about 3 months
we have our court date for next year
WHy is your lawyer lolligagging? (aside from getting more money out of it)?
tell me about it
Do some research on the applicable motions in your area, especially about abandonment. Contact CPS anonymously and ask some questions.
Not Your Phone, and no names
Be prepared to move without your lawyer. Gather data and bring it TO him as opposed to waiting on him for everything
im going to be emailing her
apparently since im military its hard for me to get my kids
You have a whole different court on your side! Contact your JAG or applicable office. Set meetings once you've prepared what you have
READ THAT BOOK
75 pages of Enlightenment
can use jag if she went to them alreaedy
and they dont do divorce , they just point you in the direction
If you have proof of her abusing her kids, especially if they were in housing at the time, she is subject to military law
Is your lawyer knowledgable in the UCMJ?
it was off post
Sorry if I get riled. I hope there's a special place in hell for those who screw over men and women of our armed forces
trust me alot of ppl feel the same way
When I was in Fort Sheridan, which was housing off post, although some was sold off as civilian territory, we were held to post standards when the towers were hit. MP rovers, curfew, etc...
ten point vehicle inspections, dogs, the works.
So even if you're off post, they may have jurisdiction, which favors you
i have to look into it
Yes, but read that book
After reading it, I went from a hyper energetic puppy full of hopes and dreams...
to a focused pit full of piss and vinegar
highly recommend it
i will. i plan on bring alot of shit to court and i cant wait for the Christmas
Good luck. You won't need it with enough preparation, but good luck regardless, amigo
Excellent archive channel. the MENy Calculations link should definitely go, as well as https://law.justia.com/codes/georgia/2017/title-16/chapter-11/article-3/part-1/section-16-11-62/ . I don't have posting permissions in that channel
We're probably just going to have it with only a few posts, but edit them with the relevant links in each like a list. For example of you are looking for what alimoney laws are in California that will be under the alimony post, and anything we found for California will be displayed in one of the areas ex:
Alimony laws:
Georgia: (link)
California: (link)
Florida: (link)
Etc
They'll likely be built up as we find more information for people or that people find from their own states
And don't worry, I don't have permission to post there yet either xD
Nice
It's a good channel. I'm glad its there
