I got banned from BestOfLegalAdvice for this and later on I saw someone saying how that was abuse and it really affects people and they just got downvoted because “it’s fake and MRA!”

I have had this fight with many a feminist, they think the MRM doesn’t stand or fight for anything, that we are just an anti-feminist, anti-women group, and when you try to explain what we do stand for, you will just get dismissed, no pain nor personal experiences that led you here will matter to them, however there is no reasoning with the unreasonable, so just keep your expectations low and if it does start to get to you, we are here to talk, even if it is just to let out some steam

Yah another thing to keep in mind is we are talking about Reddit

Many of the mods are high school and college kids that are indoctrinated

Also Reddit took a huge turn for the.worse when they had that sjw ceo

They were shutting down all discussion around anti she topics

And during that gamergate debacle, they basically threatens all of the sub owners if they didn't shut down discussion

I was active back then and all these different subs mods started making these same posts at the same time that had the same messages..I confronted one of the mods and asked if they were being told to do this by Reddit and he or she confirmed

I stopped using Reddit back then but I found out that later Reddit users did a change.org petition basically demanding her removal and reddit caved

Still she did untold damage. Who knows how many people she out in place are still there and how that's all affected the culture

It was a free speech issue more than anything. But they were trying to make it all about this one user names Zoey Quinn and unfair harrasement of of her.

What it was really about was there was a leak of an email list that these game "journalists" used to all conspire together about what to cover etc

I think it was called "gamejornpros" or something

Anyway one of the guys was suggesting they all do pieces on this game Zoe Quinn had developed called "depression quest" and give it positive coverage.

Now this game had been getting destroyed as dumb / etc. Poorly.desgined and so on

But.if got a good review anyway

And it later came to light that she had had some kind of sexual relationship with the journalist

So people were crying foul

Then that email injsut told you about was leaked and that raised concerns about journalistic integrity.

Badicay it was the equivalent of if an email was leaked showing all of the major news outlets conspiring together to give favorable coverage of something .

So the community of gamers revolted

Not just guys. Plenty of women were going after them too.
