Why do you hate her?

2019-02-18 22:56:13 UTC

I don’t know about “meanie,” but she is a mutilator.

2019-02-18 23:35:25 UTC

Love Brother K, I have protested with him a couple of times.

2019-02-18 23:36:17 UTC

Kind of a weird thing to decide to become

2019-02-19 03:52:35 UTC

no type of circumcision is good.

2019-02-19 03:55:24 UTC

I bet that hurts a lot

2019-02-19 22:56:16 UTC

It's like a sick fetish

2019-02-19 22:56:25 UTC

What type of mutilation will i give my son?

2019-02-19 23:00:02 UTC

Well tbh guy I think a oit of parents, especially before the 90s, did it primarily as a religious thing

2019-02-19 23:00:49 UTC

I know its still an bad thing but many people in abusive marriages used the same reasoning to stay together. Their church was against divorce.

2019-02-19 23:01:50 UTC

I'm not trying to excuse it I'm just saying they probably didn't have any sinister intentions.

2019-02-19 23:02:59 UTC

the vast majority of circumcision in the US has been for non-religious reasons going back over 100 years

2019-02-19 23:03:06 UTC

its never been the majority in the US

2019-02-19 23:03:35 UTC

I haven't seen numbers but I would bet serious money its never been more than 20%

2019-02-19 23:03:44 UTC

and today hovers below 10%

2019-02-19 23:36:25 UTC

I think you're wrong

2019-02-19 23:42:03 UTC

well Judaism accounts for less than 3% of the US population

2019-02-19 23:42:18 UTC

isn't Judaism is the only religion that advocates circumcision for religious reasons?

2019-02-19 23:42:35 UTC

Circumcision is a social norm in the US

2019-02-19 23:43:03 UTC

right but not for religious reasons

2019-02-19 23:44:36 UTC

Islam does as well, kind of, but my personal research seems to say it's not actually mandated as such, just recommended, and Muhammad was circumcised

2019-02-19 23:45:16 UTC

I'm trying to find some numbers on 'reasons' for circumcision, but I guess they don't even ask?

2019-02-19 23:45:34 UTC

found some stats that circumcision is in decline in the US, which is nice

2019-02-19 23:45:54 UTC

but still about 50% of newborns are being circumcised according to the CDC

2019-02-20 01:12:49 UTC

0.7% Reduction of UTI risk in boys, from 1.8% to 1.1%. The UTI risk in girls in 6.6%

2019-02-20 01:17:52 UTC

Protection from Penile Cancer, which occurs at a rate of .0014% Each year

2019-02-20 01:18:40 UTC

Help protect women from HPV, which with Gardasil is now irrelevant

2019-02-20 01:21:13 UTC

Phimosis, Balanitis and balanoposthitis are numbers I do not know

2019-02-20 01:22:16 UTC

But even with a complication rate of circumcision on the extreme conservative side of 2% I do not see this being a net positive like doctors claim.
