well i mean they've already taken father's out of the home so this is merely the next step

2019-01-27 09:03:12 UTC

My teacher pulled the sexism card when I told her I disagreed with her views on feminism

2019-01-27 09:04:35 UTC

the only way feminists tend to feel empowered is by shaming men

2019-01-27 09:04:36 UTC

don't let it get to you

2019-01-27 09:08:45 UTC

I throw it right back at them

2019-01-27 09:08:49 UTC

They get miffed

2019-01-27 09:09:18 UTC

Feminism = bunch of women with insecure attachments styles that overgeneralize their poor choices in men to the behavior of all men

2019-01-27 09:13:34 UTC

This was two years ago but I was just reminded of it. The fact that they've brought this shit into the school system and are forcing it on male students infuriates me

2019-01-27 09:13:46 UTC

It's a cult

2019-01-27 09:13:48 UTC

Get them while they're young I suppose

2019-01-27 09:14:13 UTC

This is what you get when you throw traditional religions out the window. People have to make up new bullshit to subjigate everyone else to.

2019-01-27 11:07:17 UTC

Eh, saying it's the cause of lack of religion is a bit of a stretch there

2019-01-27 11:24:03 UTC

People need dogmas to adhere to

2019-01-27 11:25:30 UTC

I disagree, and tbh, that whole area is off-topic

2019-01-27 11:27:06 UTC

People need to feel morally superior to others

2019-01-27 11:27:16 UTC

Earlier it was through religion

2019-01-27 11:29:03 UTC

It's probably much more accurate to say that people want or enjoy the feeling of that, not that they need it to be part of their existance

2019-01-27 11:33:12 UTC

And someone without a dogma can still feel superior to others either way

2019-01-27 11:33:46 UTC

Dogma is an easy way for the masses to feel morally superior

2019-01-27 11:34:59 UTC

A set belief system making some people feel better than others isn't an argument that that's a good or bad thing

2019-01-27 11:38:03 UTC

I never said it's good or bad. It's just that obsession with 'social justice' stems from their feeling of moral superiority. It's somewhat like the idea of 'white man's burden'

2019-01-27 11:39:49 UTC

You can say that about anyone passionate about a subject, including men's rights. Do we not feel superior to feminists? The original thing I replied to said that its what happens when religion (a dogma) is taken away, when that doesn't have to be the case, it doesn't *necessarily* have to be replaced by another by matter of need.

2019-01-27 11:41:26 UTC

Trying morally superior to others is a human trait.

2019-01-27 11:42:21 UTC

Just that religion is one of the easiest way to feel superior. And social justice comes after it

2019-01-27 11:43:14 UTC

It can be described by the fundamental difference in ideologies of modernism and postmodernism

2019-01-27 11:44:22 UTC

You aren't really going to address what I've said then, just plod on regardless?

2019-01-27 11:47:01 UTC

You know, people need to get obsessed over something... It gives human life meaning. When religiosity was the norm, it was what people got obsessed over.

As the religions' effect waned off, the social justice trend would too wane off

2019-01-27 11:48:44 UTC

Religion is even fundamentally social justice

2019-01-27 11:49:18 UTC

So today's social justice movement is basically religion without god

2019-01-27 21:12:16 UTC

@Indigo I'd say that Feminism is very much a secular ideology, not a religion, but I do agree that it is supplanting Christianity with something I'd call deeply immoral. Religions don't all act alike, and many don't have moral codes at all. False Piety (pretending you are morally superior) is also a major sin in Western religions - you could call it a 'toxic' form of religion, if you like. I think it mainly tends to exist inside Hollywood films, personally. But yes, we are getting way off topic. This Discord isn't really meant for religious discussion.

I hate to say it, but Fox News is kinda on our side. lol

2019-01-27 21:24:42 UTC

Yep, that’s a refreshing article from a mainstream source.

2019-01-27 21:26:30 UTC

I think we actually have a few news outlets on our side now. There's one in Australia that does a weekly Misandry update: https://www.spectator.com.au/author/corrine-barracloughexample-com/

2019-01-27 21:26:37 UTC

Also the Telegraph in the UK. The Times is largely Feminist but they occasionally give in and print something pro MRM

2019-01-27 21:28:13 UTC

Yeah, there is more incentive to publish this content now.

2019-01-27 21:32:27 UTC

I think we need to try and do what @blueorange22 is doing and get letters and articles published that show we have valid issues and are actually the reasonable side of the debate.

2019-01-27 21:33:03 UTC

One idea I also had was TED talks. We need to try and schedule some as soon as we can. I think Blue would be up for that.

2019-01-27 21:34:04 UTC

Right.
