ah im not sure about that then

2019-01-01 12:59:09 UTC

but as far as i can see in china now

2019-01-01 12:59:18 UTC

its definitely better than what the states look

2019-01-01 13:00:39 UTC

Well, I hope so

2019-01-01 13:01:11 UTC

I have been worried about that guy who may be the next leader

2019-01-01 13:01:26 UTC

The one who wants his portrait in every home

2019-01-01 13:02:48 UTC

I hope I haven't offended you by talking about this at all @QinGuan2004

2019-01-01 13:02:54 UTC

nah

2019-01-01 13:03:15 UTC

Alright then. that's good to hear

2019-01-01 14:15:21 UTC

i think pension age differences should be one of our main "pitches" to spread the MRM with. its such a blatant example

2019-01-01 14:15:45 UTC

countries like austria, so called "pioneers of gender equality". AND they have conscription

2019-01-01 14:19:48 UTC

It should be a big one. We need it on the lists

2019-01-01 14:20:13 UTC

It really helps that feminists protest if you try and equalize them.

2019-01-01 14:20:43 UTC

they do

2019-01-01 14:21:13 UTC

And this is why my mum is retired and my dad still works

2019-01-01 14:21:33 UTC

Quite probably.

2019-01-01 14:21:40 UTC

yep

2019-01-02 13:29:15 UTC

So looking at that article, it seems that the problem is not that the ages of retirment were changed, but instead the horrible execution of it.

2019-01-02 14:19:55 UTC

I would not bet on that being the true answer, judging by the big 60 they are carrying about.

2019-01-02 16:58:33 UTC

But they’re making a very disingenuous and senseless argument-what even does the “execution “ of it mean? They say it’s unfair that they’ll have to wait longer than expected- too bad

2019-01-02 16:59:14 UTC

“Those with privilege, losing it feels like oppression.” It was overdue. How else can the age by raised?

2019-01-02 18:00:49 UTC

Sounds suspect. In fact, it sounds like "we'd love you to have a men's movement, just not like this!" I.e. one that counters feminist entitlement.

2019-01-02 18:14:14 UTC

The early pension age isn’t a deserved entitlement, it’s something that has been unfair for decades. Maybe in the 50s society was “like that”, but not now

2019-01-02 18:15:38 UTC

One of the problems I've heard is that their pensions now 'won't be right'- that they've paid in more than they should because they now retire later

2019-01-02 18:16:02 UTC

I don't think that should stop it being changed but thats potentially a legitimate concern

2019-01-02 18:29:09 UTC

Well that's just awful. Having too much money like that. Whatever will they do.

2019-01-02 18:29:12 UTC

Lol

2019-01-02 18:33:41 UTC

I think its meaning that yes they'll retire later but still get the same retirement payment even though they paid more into it than men because of the life expectancy gap? Something along those lines. I'll dig up an explanation...

2019-01-02 18:42:45 UTC

Well how about a refund?

2019-01-02 18:53:21 UTC

Funnily enough I heard plenty of the argument that I just mentioned a few years back but I can't find anything now. Mmm. The only legitimate argument I can see in current arguments is that women weren't given proper notice of the change and have failed to make proper financial planning as a result, and knowing how extremely reliable the government is, is probably true to an extent. The number of articles saying that its unfair because men generally get higher pensions (because they pay more into them!!!) Is ridiculous though

2019-01-02 19:12:04 UTC

Wow. That's like something a small child would say.

2019-01-02 19:12:39 UTC

Then again, they cite the pay gap I bet - which is literally the same thing.

2019-01-02 19:15:13 UTC

Some say 'pay gap for women continues after retirement' so yep

2019-01-03 06:10:11 UTC

*The core fundamental theory of feminism is the patriarchy theory
No, it is advocating for gender equality*
Patriarchy theory is a secondary element
*and reduces men and women into binaries of oppressor and oppressed respectively.*
Very few feminists I have met actually do this
Vast majority do not

2019-01-03 06:11:10 UTC

---------

2019-01-03 06:11:18 UTC

*Patriarchy theory is the theory which they analyze the world, in order to advacate for women's rights*
A theory, one that is not nessecary and that not every feminist uses.
*Patriarchy theory essentially reduces humans into binaries*
I think you need to read up on what patriarchy theory actually is. It is flawed, yes, but it is not the root of all evil

2019-01-03 06:13:44 UTC

*And almost every feminist believes in it.*
Problem is, there are many different strains of the theory.

2019-01-03 06:15:57 UTC

There maybe different strains of feminism.
Almost all feminist social analysis is atleast in part based on patriarchy theory. Including the Duluth's model.

2019-01-03 06:16:28 UTC

But again, which patriarchy theory? Define the one you refer to

2019-01-03 06:17:44 UTC

Men exercising control over women due to their gender privilege... Which is the basis of Ellen pence's formulation of Duluth's model
