Yea true. I was just gonna say that black people tend to make that claim often. As a black person you hear that stuff all the time “it’s not racist if they are white”- stuff like that

Well it's not really the same convo, but in nonreciprocal domestic violence women are the ones who perpetrate it more often, even if when men do they tend to cause greater injury. So I can see that being true
I think this was a good post that was fairly overlooked/missed
I think people can be too quick to redefine feminism, rather than recognise that many people are badly representing feminism and aren't actually feminists.

People are not what they say they do
It's what they do
You cannot let feminist and feminist organizations make outrageously sexist laws and policies against men and when called out, claim that they aren't 'real feminists'
This is exactly what I was worried about when I told people that feminists would act like they had always been onboard with male issues to score points for their movement. They did the same thing with gay rights - after opposing them for years - and they now act like they had a big hand in securing them. Which they didn't.
They absolutely will co-opt our issues wherever the tide turns against them, and they will do it shamelessly.
And then they will continue as normal.
This is why it's important to smash feminist rhetoric and protest feminism itself.
If we don't, Male Suicide will just become another talking point for #HeForShe
Feminists aren't some hive mind
It isn't fair to be against feminism as a whole
Women need support just as men do
Being against feminism is not being anti women
I do hate the way some people will ignore the issues of men in order to promote feminism
And I'm against misandrists of course
Being against feminism means being against what feminism had done and continues to do
They give a rats ass about men's issues
It feels like an overgeneralisation
Everything they had done for men is "teaching them to cry more and combating toxic masculinity"
